What do I do to check whether an email is real or not

In 2021, while we were going our annual survey, 62% of people who got a fake email cannot tell if it was real or not. So. here is the Verification Team's Top 3 Self-Check tips to check if an email is real or not.

- Check the email address

All emails from EXE Entertainment will ALWAYS be from the domain 'exe-entertainment.com' or a subdomain but will ALWAYS have '.exe-entertainment.com' at the end. For example*, forexample@exe-entertainment.com or forexample@demo.exe-entertainemnt.com would be REAL emails from EXE Entertainment. exeentertainment96@gmail.com or exeentertainment67@hotmail.com would be FAKE emails.

- If it is automatized, check for spelling mistakes.

All emails at EXE Entertainment that are automatized will always be correctly spelt and if they're not either forward them to us (verify@exe-entertainment.com) or delete them

- If Gmail cannot verify the email address, report it to us and delete it!

All emails from EXE Entertainment will never have the message shown below, sometimes people can mask their email to ours however if you get this message IT IS NOT US! If you get this message please screenshot the email with the attached message sent it us (verify@exe-entertainemnt.com) and then 'Report phishing'. We will do the same thing on our end as well.

If you're still unsure, despite all the signs being clear, forward it to us and we will confirm whether it is ours or not. It is our job at EXE Entertainment to keep you and us safe and we will NEVER judge you for forwarding us an email even if it is safe.
